We then R&R the cam VVT solenoid and replaced as it was gummed up, cleaned the oil port, then replaced the cam VVT Actuator. Now... |

| 2002 Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2L Excessive Emissions, Poor Idle Quality, Poor Fuel Economy, MIL Lamp on, blowing grey smoke Hi Guys thanks to all those that replied.I removed the intake manifold and had it chemically cleaned of sludge and carbon.I removed and cleaned the egr valve as well.I cleaned the intake ports of carbon as well.The engine did not blow smoke after this but roug... Trouble codes: 31 (CAN communications fault), 51 (EGR position sensor fault), 52 (Variable geometry turbo boost sensor fault). |
