2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 2.5L No Start, Cuts out, Stall VIN: 3VWRF31K06
Well we ran a new power wire from the fuse to the fuel pump, and drove it for a week and the fuse did not blow. There must be a short to ground somewhere on the wire but we never found anything. So we are calling this one fixed. Thanks for the replies.

Well we fixed it, the culprit was the evap purge valve! It would intermittently not seal and cause a vaccum leak, that depending how many fuel vapours were in the tank would throw our fuel trims out. This is what was causing the throttle plate to move, it was ... Trouble codes: P0507.
