| 2006 Nissan Xterra X 4.0L Timing Chain VIN: 5N1AN08U46 Well, we can chalk this up to parts failure. The small spring wire that hold the primary tensioner out had broken and was allowing the tensioner to go in thus allowing way too much slack on the primary chain. Replaced primary tensioner again solved problem. |
