| 1994 Mercedes-Benz S500 5.0L Poor Idle Quality, Stall, Asr light VIN: WDBGA51EXR DEAR TECH. THANKS FOR ALL REPLIES. I REALLY APPRECIATE. THE PROBLEM BE FIXED BY CHANGE NEW THROTTLE ACTUATOR. I CUT IT OPEN ON THE WIRING HARNESS OF THE THROTTLE ACTUATOR. FOUND THE INSULATION BETWEEN WIRES FALLEN APART! CREATED INTERNAL SHORT CIRCUIT! Trouble codes: 007 (Ea n4/1 control mod/trans select switch), 009 (Ea n4/1 control module), 080 (Stop lamp switch s9/1), 096 (Start lock-out/back up lamp switch s16/3), 17 (Crankshaft position sensor l5). |

Recall though, we never experienced the symptons during numerous test drives, before or after replacing the one coil. The issue was too intermitt...
