The problem was a broken wire going to the encoder motor in the harness. It was hard to find as when we checked for continuity it was always ok. The wire was "just making contact". | 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS 1.6L horn VIN: KL1TD56657 Thanks to everyone who posted a repair. I actually found another Aveo Notchback and listened with a stethescope for the relay. Located the relay inside the fuse box among other relays. The hatchback version of the Aveo has an external relay. |
