Someone suggested unplugging an injector to see if the correct cylinder would set a misfire code. This would tell you if the cam position sensor was indexed wrong. Great ide... | 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT 6.0L Hesitation, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTNW21P33 Thanks to all that replied. What a great simple test unplugging one bank at a time and monitoring psi. That worked great!!! So it proved out that the problem was hi psi oil pump for injectors. Thanks Nate Trouble codes: P2290. |

| 2005 Ford Escape Limited 3.0L No Start, Poor Idle Quality, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FMYU94145 We found a used ecu from another Escape this time no transfer of parts this time. Sent to Ford had them reprogram VIN/PATS and also reflashed PCM with new updates. Also replaced with new FORD coils. For those that have the same problem like what we had i would...
