this was a weird one, after viewing all the replies and advising customer, installed a crank case vent valve without removing intake manifold with updated insulated hoses and valve. removed the pipe atop the intake that equally dispenses crankcase pressure and... Trouble codes: 241 (Cylinder 4 misfire), 120 (Accelerator and brake pedals implausible values).

2004 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 1.9L No Start, Hard to start VIN: 3VWSR69M04
Check for voltage at the crank sensor connector. Brown and white wires should have 2.5v and the black should be ground with key on or off. If the black wire has 2.5v, you need to ground it. Simple fix (easier said than diagnosed!!) for a hard starting 04 BEW T... Trouble codes: P0321 (Engine Speed Sensor G28 Implausible Signal).
