	2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SL 8.1L Poor Fuel Economy VIN: 1GTHK23G22 thanks to all that responded. I found that it was the combination of the thermastat and the spark plugs that were causing the fault. the thermastat was keeping the engine to cold and that was causing the e.c.m. to over fuel the engine.
