After many responces it became obviuos that the only fix for this car was to install a short block. Even though this is a Cadillac I believe the internal design of the block was to blame for its premature (50,000 miles) demise. Thank you for the help.

Well car is fixed and customer is happy,turns out there are 3 drivers of this vehicle one being a tennager which i didnt know at first.The customer runs pennzoil full synthetic most of the time but he has used mobil 1, i recommended he stay with mobil 1 only ....
