| 2001 Ford F-150 XL 4.2L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTZF17261 Hopefully someone has run into this. The truck came in for engine light. Origianally had p171,p174,p1518. My fuel trims were 40B1, 7-9B2. Smoked intake had leak around cylinder 1 port. Pulled upper intake replaced gasket and found B1 IMRC rod hanging and valve... Trouble codes: P1518 |

| 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L shiftting VIN: 1FTZR15X1Y changed the valve body gasket and separator plate to the newer bonded one and replaced the pressure valve. so far so good seems to have done the trick. thanks to all who replied especially Jim from Tennesse who called and helped me by phone ! |
