this truck came in for sale . we are trying to get it through emmisssions. the readiness monitors won't set and we keep getting a pending misfire code that eventually goes to a check engine light and we can't test it. the truck appears to run good with no outs... Trouble codes: 300 (random misfire)

Because the client wasnt interested in keeping the ON STAR sys working, The two last replies recieved provided the exact solution. Just remove inline fuse on Batery cable and the disturbing voice message was gone. Thanks for all your replies
