Rebuild carb, now the thing hits on all cylinders and brought the emissions readings closer to what they should be. However The cat is dead, but it should pass smog with a new cat. | 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL 5.4L Stall, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTNX20L02 After carefully considering all the responses, many of which pointed to cam timing, we pulled the front cover and took a look at the RH timing chain. Found that the tensioner wasn't keeping chain tight and the RH cam was out of time. New chains, guides, & tens... Trouble codes: P0305 (5 misfire), P0307 (7 misfire), P0308 (8 misfire). |
