| 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0L Poor Idle Quality, Surge, Cuts out, Misfire, Poor Fuel Economy VIN: 4A3AK44Y4X I replaced the timing belt, though the marks were right on. Cleaned the throttle body, replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, and cam cover seals. Replaced the water pump while I was changing the timing belt. The car runs 98 percent better.
