|1996 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L Poor Idle Quality, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FALP42X2T
This car was a nightmare, but is DONE! A new Ford HO2S fixed the lean code, fuel trims are near zero, yay. Found out that 20% TPS is normal at idle. Found that the rough idle was caused by the EVR being energized , opening the EGR. But why is it energized? Per... Trouble codes: P1409 (EGR EVR circuit malfunction), P1151 (bank 2 correcting for lean condition).

Thanks for all the help, after going over everything again, put another PCM in and its still out there. I would find a better place to put a PCM than under the drink holder.

ok this car does have that misfire strategy,it will cycle on and off to try to get the cylinder to come back to life. i took a compression test and leak down, the exhaust vavle was the culprit. this one took me to school. thanks for all your help guys Trouble codes: P0302 (cylinder 2 misfire).
