thanks for all of the replies. the pressed on reluctor wheel on the back of the harmonic balancer had spun so it was firing out of sequence. |

2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.0L Oil system
From the looks of the wear sleeve on the crank, the previous installer did not have the tool to do it correctly. I installed another front crank seal with the correct tools and it has not come back. Thanks to everyone for your time in replying. |

2005 Mercury Mariner 3.0L ps line
Re ordered line and fitting wire tied to line, makes me wonder if someone jacked fitting or if it was a production line, end result is learned something new and fix car.
