1998 Ford Windstar GL 3.8L MIL Lamp on
Hi Guys Ive got this customers windstar 3.8 with a recurring 171 and 174 lean code that just wont go away. My genisys streaming data shows the MAF voltage at .05 and the flow at 1.34 gal/sec when the engine is off.Does this mean the PCM needs a reflash or so... Trouble codes: 0171 (lean left bank), 0174 (lean right bank)

2003 Ford E-450 Super Duty Custom 7.3L extended crank VIN: 1FDXE45F23
Truck came in with an extended crank problem, cranks long cold or hot but a little longer when it is cold. The glow plugs are good and injectors are not leaking externally with the valve covers off.

1999 Ford E-150 Econoline 4.2L heat VIN: 1FTRE1424X
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP. I REMOVED THE INLET LINE OF THE HEATER CORE FROM THE VEHICLE & FOUND IT HAD A RESTRICTOR IN IT I WAS NOT AWARE OF & THE RESTRICTOR WAS PARTIALLY CLOGED i REMOVED THE RESTRICTOR & IT WORKS GREAT. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE HELP.

2001 Ford F-150 King Ranch 5.4L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTRW08LX1
Replaced defective MAF from ford. This Corrected the fuel trim and baro hz readings. Test drove vehicle on third test drive did the WOT procedure. Baro hz started to climb up. Fuel trim tend to still be slight high, but ave. 8%. Trouble codes: 171 (too lean), 174 (too lean).

THANKS ALOT FOR ALL THE REPLIES. THE FIX WAS TO REPULL THE USED HEAD I PUT ON AND GRIND THE VALVE SEATS SO THEY SEAT PROPERLY. I WAS STUCK ON THE FACT THAT THE PLUGS WERE ALWAYS SOAKED WITH GAS WHEN I PULLED THEM OUT, SO I WAS THINKING IT WAS GETTING TO MUCH ...
