| 1997 Saturn SL1 1.9L reverse-& 1-2 shift VIN: 1G8ZH5286V We took the advice of two of the replys and changed the trans filter and removed the side cover and tightened the nuts on the input shaft. they were torqued to about 40 ft. lbs and all data said they should be 111, shifts are now firm but not harsh.
