Replacing the crank sensor took care of the problem. Removing the sensor connector was necessary. Make sure the 4 wires go back to their proper slots on the connector. Crank sensor positioning tool was also used. OTC part #64... |

Thanks to all who replied. There is a service bulletin # 05-052 which addresses an issue with the imrc solenoid sticking causing this code. So I let the car go since I just replaced it already. Trouble codes: p1077 (imrc system malfunction low rpm). |
