2002 Ford Ranger 3.0L Misfire, MIL Lamp on
Well we finally found the problem. Like 4 of the 29 responses indicated, the valve seats are receding into the head. The customer has taken the vehicle and will let us know if he will repair it or trade it in.

Sorry, all, but the elderly lady who owns this car has decided not to invest the time/money in additional diagnosis at this time. I did replace the DPFE sensor with a Ford unit, but with still no change. I will post any additional findings as they become avail... Trouble codes: p0402 (egr flow highdpfe sensor voltage high). |
