| 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L Poor Idle Quality, Cuts out, Stall, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1D7HU18D43 I decided to pull off the valve covers and found that there was a broken exhaust valve spring on cylinder 1. Replaced all 8 springs with mopar parts, and vehicle runs fine. I would like to thank everyone for their help with this. | 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1J4GW48S71 OK it took a while for the fault to return after I bleed the system again but it did return.
