This vehicle runs fine, customer has no complaint. I am scanning with an OTC Genesis. I am using Mitchell, the only way I could even find this code was to perform a search and then it was listed in the 4.0L section. The code is preventing the car from passing ... Trouble codes: P1177 (Bank2 lambda correction downstream of catalyst control limit reached)

Car is missing idle cyl. #2. The valves hit the pistons quite hard. Leak down shows all cyls. 95 to 97% efficent. Car runsfin off idle. Injector is working fine. Coil is working fine. Do these 1.8Ts bend rods when they hit yhe valves?
