Thanks for all the help, we just put a oversize self threading in and all is well customer will contact us on 1 week before next oil change and we will order a new pan and install. The new plug don't look to bad but better safe than sorry.

From the responses I received, most suggested issues with the CEM module. Especially an issue with water leaking in from the windshield into the CEM wiring. We reset the codes and let the customer take the vehicle. We have not heard from them since. Thanks...
