| 1996 Ford Windstar GL 3.8L Poor Idle Quality, Surge, Misfire VIN: 2FMDA5142T starts and runs fine. after its hot and sits for about 10 min restart and it is running rough. it acts light heavy miss. hit the gas and it will clear up after a few seconds. fuel pressure is good, no injector leaks, good compressiion. if it runs ok after a so... | 1998 Ford Explorer Sport 4.0L MIL Lamp on, po171 po174 VIN: 1FMYU22E0W hello this is the explorer from hell. Came in with po171 & po174, smoked and found intake gaskets leaking. Has had an intermittent code for CMP although the sensor was replaced with no change (sync shaft not replaced or removed). | 1999 Ford Ranger XL 3.0L Misfire VIN: 1FTYR14V9X Have one that is running on three cylinders, codes stored for misfire cylinder 4,5 and 6. All on drivers side of engine. Tried new coil pack with no luck, checked for spark on all three cylinders and spark looked the same as cylinders that are firing correctly... After switching coils to several different cylinders and not giving the vehicle a full drive cycle and I guess not clearing the codes properly . We finally found the problem...
