| 2004 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FAFP42X54 P1406: Diesel particulate filter EGR- downstream hose off /plugged. This car came in with a P1406. Cust request a tune up and we recomment a motor vac to decarbon engine, guess did'nt work. MIL is back on for same reason. Any Ideas?? Thanks Mirza. |

| 1996 Chevrolet S10 4.3L No Start, Poor Idle Quality, Hesitation, Surge, Cuts out, Stall, Misfire, Poor Fuel Economy, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1GC1S67X9T P1406: EGR Valve Pintle Position Circuit Malfunction. Just fixed a wierd one. Above codes and no 5 volt refernce from VCM to TPS or MAP. At times it had 1-2 volts on 5 volt reference wire.
