Hi all, and again thanks for the help. What ended up fixing the Bimmer is resetting the camshaft timing on bank 2 (left hand side). When I rechecked the vanos unit, it was not fully seated on it's stop, ultimately causing the check engine light to come on! Res... Trouble codes: 34 (Vanos inlet camshaft control bank 2), P0021 (A Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 2).
