I thank everyone that helped. All that responded suggested the coolant sensor could be the problem so I changed it even though it tested good. It must have been intermittant enough I couldn't catch the problem because afterwords I could clear the codes and it ... Trouble codes: 21 (engine coolant temp), 24 (idle air control), 32 (ho2s), 13 (cmp sensor no signal).
