thanks to all that replied - this was a learning experience.. i had cleaned the maf sensor, erased the code but did not clear the computer memory by removeing the efi fuse. after clearing the memory & several road tests the stft was between 0% - 1.6% at idle. ... Trouble codes: P0171 (lean bank 1).
