Thanks to all who responded, Once everyone realized it wasn't a vacuum controlled EGR, most responses were to replace the Valve so that's what we did. It's only been a few days but so far all seems well. Our outdated scanner and vantage are being traded in on ... Trouble codes: P0406.

thanks to all who replied after another inspection looking at the fuel cap i realized it was an aftermarket cap with no tether. replaced with oe cap and had a friend run the ldp test with the drb111 all good drove it two more days just to verify. we also verif...
