| 1997 Ford F-250 Lariat 5.4L ABS & Speedometer VIN: 1FTFX28L4V John from Mass. hit it right on the nose. We checked the coils and found #4 & #8 to be the problem. We took the advice that almost everyone gave and replaced the spark plug boots/ wires and the problem was fixed. I had never ran across this before, but most of the IATN respondents did.
