While my manager insisted we send this vehicle to the dealer after replacing the fuel tank pressure sensor to no avail, dave sent me some good info. Nice to know we weren't the only ones struggling on this problem. I will re-post if I can find out what the fix... Trouble codes: P0453.

Thanks a lot to all who replies ! I replace all the vacuum hoses & the solendoid valve.the voltage at the solendoid valve connector should be about 8 volt (i've measured at another passat with the same engine & year !). The secondary air pump is never running ... Trouble codes: P0411, P0442, P1479 (Unknow fault).
