| 1997 GMC K1500 Sierra SL 4.3L Cuts out, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1GTEK19W0V Thanks for the helpful replies, I replaced the distributor and this one is fixed. Since cam retard was at -23 I decided to look into this further. The 4.3 liter is not adjustable like the 5.7 liter engine. I removed the distributor cap and found excessive play... Trouble codes: P0300 (Random cyl. misfire detected), P0151 (O2 signal low bank 2 sensor 1), P0137 (O2 signal low bank1 sensor 2), P0131 (O2 signal low bank 1 sensor 1). |
