| 1998 Subaru Forester L 2.5L Poor Idle Quality, Stall, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: JF1SF635XH Thank you for the replies. Several tech's suggested the timing belt replacement would cause the problem. I verified timing marks, and engine vacccum. The MAF readings were very low, so I replaced with reman unit, and this fixed the problem. Trouble codes: P0103, P0170 (Bank 1 Fuel Trim Malf), P0301, P0303 (Clyinder 3 Misfire), P0304. |
