2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 1.9L MIL Lamp on VIN: WVWSP61J72
Vehicle is fixed. Installed rebuilt turbo from dealer and all is well. I took the old turbo apart and the variable vane linkage was full of soot and sticking causing this overboost condition. Thanks for all the help Trouble codes: P0234 (16618-Boost Regulation Control Limit exceeded- Overboost).
