| 1998 Ford Mustang 4.6L Poor Idle Quality, Hesitation, Surge, Cuts out, Stall, Misfire, MIL Lamp on Thank you for all of your responses, finally turned out to be a combination of a bad IAC and a bad O2 sensor. Upon a closer look at the data on Genisys, the B2S2 was staying constantly lean. Swapped O2s from right to left and the problem moved. Replaced it and... | 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 Hot Coupe 2.0L Valve Train VIN: 3FAKP1135X Hi everyone, I did a motor vac to see if carbon was the problem. Still makes same noise. I did find out from customer that the engine overheated. I think that the valve seats droped. Customer got rid of car on a trade in. Thanks for all the useful tips. |
