thanks for the help guys. it turns out the owner put 'splitfire' plugs in a while ago. problem started a few months later. there must have been RFI ( radio frequency interference ) causing the cam sensor code and screwing up the signal. Thanks to identifix for... Trouble codes: P0340 (Cam sensor).
