| 1997 Chevrolet K1500 5.7L No Start, MIL Lamp on Thanks for all replies. The problem turned out to be the ignition coil. Pretty simple, but I still have the engine light on with the P1345. It doesn't seem to be effecting driveability so my buddy isn't going to worry about it right now. Trouble codes: P1345 (CKP/CMP correlation). |

We ended up running a combination of transmission fluid and water through the engine to clear out the carbon. It ran a lot better after that.
