| 1990 Plymouth Acclaim 2.5L Excessive Emissions, Misfire, Poor Fuel Economy VIN: 1P3XA46K4L Runs rich mainly when cold. Black smoke out tailpipe all the time but worse when cold. | 1999 Dodge Dakota SLT 5.2L Poor Idle Quality, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1B7GG26Y9X Thanks to all who replied. we had the pcm reprogrammed per tsb 18-017-02 and this cured the check engine lamp and code p0203. the flash did not help our idle problem, so we removed the valve covers to look at the valvetrain. BINGO! we had a broken valve spring... Trouble codes: P0203 (3 cyl. injector fault). |
