	1999 Oldsmobile Alero GL 3.4L valve/lifter VIN: 1G3NL52EXX ok, thanx to everyone who replied. This was a weird one, it seems that upon reassembly the suspect lifter never bled down and when i started it the valve hit the piston.I replaced the valve and reassembled with the new lifter and all worked fine.	11
