| 1991 Buick Regal Gran Sport 3.8L Poor Idle Quality, MIL Lamp on VIN: 2G4WD54L6M This is a very random problem. One tech replaced the TPS for low voltage (.2 volts). The high idle/high throttle angle problem returned in a week. Again there was a TPS code. The IAC motor was replaced. Then the ECM replaced. The problem went away for about 3 ... Turned out to be bad ground on alternator. added extra ground lead, clean and tighten all the grounds. car has been running fine since. thanks to all the replies, especially those that sent to me the ground circuits.
