| 1998 Ford Windstar GL 3.8L Electronic VIN: 2FMZA5147W Thanks to all who responded. The vehicle did in fact have a metal style EGR sensor, after removing it and road testing the symptom disappeared. We then replaced the component with an updated plastic houseing version. |

| 1999 Ford Contour LX 2.5L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FAFP66LOX Replaced intake gasket(upper/w new bolts) and so far car is ok. As I said before MAF was cleaned and then replaced to try to fix the problem the first time. Suspected manifold as per past experiences but couldn't reproduce problem. THANKS FOR ALL INPUT. | 2000 Ford Windstar SE 3.8L Upper Intake VIN: 2FMZA5240Y Thanks for the many replies, guys. They were all correct in pinpointing the problem. The upper intake manifold had a separate piece separate ratttling around inside the top. The fix was a updated one piece upper intake manifold. |
