| 1996 Dodge Neon High Line 2.0L Poor Idle Quality, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1B3ES47C1T Jeff from Wisconsin got it. It was the egr valve staying open with about 2.5 in. of vacuum. The mechcanic that install the engine had the vacuum lines hooked up backwards. The solenoid could not vent the vacuum. Idles great now. Thanks to IATN. Trouble codes: P1899 (P/N Switch Failure), P0172 (Fuel System Rich), P0300 (Multiple Cyl. Misfire), P0462 (Fuel Sender Unit Volts to Low). |
