| 2000 BMW M5 5.0L Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: WBSDE9347Y Thanks to all who responded. The problem was twofold: the airflow meters were bad, as well as the pedal position potentiometer. Mass aiflow had shifted on both sides, as well as foreign contamination present inside. Again, thanks to all. Trouble codes: 196 (Misfire w/cutoff Cyl1), 201 (Misfire w/cutoff Cyl6). |
