2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 6.6L Cylinder Head Surfacing
We have a Duramax with a blown head gasket, the sealing ring has dug into the aluminum on both heads requiring surfacing to the tune of approx .010". Does anyone know why GM recommends "do not surface" Duramax cylinder heads.
