The #3 intake valve is noisy on this truck. The engine was rebuilt 6000 miles ago (not by us). We have pulled the valve cover and tried a dynamic adjustment of the lifter. You can loosen it up until you get some lash, and it starts to miss just about 1/4 turn ...
