2001 Mercedes-Benz S500 Guard 5.0L 2-3 Upshift Delay
The owner of this car began complaining that the car
started holding in gear when he started out. I suggested he
was feeling the programmed in feature where it delays
upshifts for the first minute or so to heat the catalysts
up.
