1996 BMW 740iL 4.4L 3rd Gear Only Intermittant
Hi, This transmission will go into failsafe mode according to the dashboard display. At this time it has third gear only. The problem is VERY intermittant and the transmission works fine otherwise. I used up a half a tank of gas before duplicating the problem....
