2000 Volkswagen Beetle GLS 1.8L Hesitation, Cuts out, Stall, MIL Lamp on
This vehicle will not accelerate at all when warm and will stall at stops. Code p1557 sets as soon as it is driven. It will run ok if the mass air flow sensor is disconnected (in limp mode). No vacuum leaks can be found with smoke.
