Re: 98 chevy malibu ac

I was using a snap-on scanner to engage the ac clutch but when I actuated it, it said ac not equipped. So using my vantage, I got b+ to the bcm from hvac control head/ switch. I have b+ at the ac clutch driver pin of the PCM which shows continuity and also no command from PCM as it is ground side controlled. I cannot find ANY info in alldata for the "ac request" circuit but alldata does say to check for b+ at the ac request pin at PCM. Which brings us back to my original question. Alldata is wrong about the PIN number because pin 22 is blank, so which pin is ac request? I assume ac request comes from the bcm but the bcm connector pin out lists no such ac request or signal, only the signal in from hvac control head. I do not want to tear out the dash or pin out the modules because alldata has the wrong diagram. Maybe I am missing something but I need to know if the PCM is getting a ac request sig and if the bcm is supplying it and I will have this thing whooped. Thanks
