Re: gas caddy
Posted to Tool & Equipment Forum on 12/11/2014

Bought a 30gal Todd Gas Caddy years ago, it came with a hand crank rotary pump that was a pain to operate and finally started leaking so bad I couldn't use it. I installed a gasoline rated 12v electric transfer pump (Fill Rite) from Northern Hydraulics and am so happy I did. It will refill the 20gal in about 1 Min. It will also suction fuel if you reverse the connections on the battery. I added a ground wire to the pump case and clamp it to the tank in case of static spark.
