ATG Schedule of Classes for June 2016
Posted to Industry Events Forum on 5/26/2016
Hello everyone,
The Automotive Training Group (ATG) has the following
classes available for the month of June 2016 which all run
from 6:30PM - 10:00PM each night for both nights, except
where noted below.
ADVANCED CIRCUIT & ELECTRICAL TESTING: This
class is about using wiring diagrams as part of a larger
strategy to increase testing accuracy and decrease testing
time (and even the number of tests performed). We're
combining wiring information with codes, symptoms, system
interactions, Scan Tool PIDs & controls, and other
observations.
* June 20th & 21st, 2016 Oklahoma City, OK
* June 22nd & 23rd, 2016 Wichita, KS
FORD ENGINE PERFORMANCE: This all-new Ford
Engine Performance training manual and seminar cover the
evolving failures of both new and legacy engine management
systems. We provide in-the-trenches explanations of systems
and failures, including case studies that show the latest
tricks for finding root causes fast. This isn't just a
summary of OEM information and training material, but was
built by analyzing actual diagnostic struggles and
documenting the shortest diagnostic paths.
* June 1st & 2nd, 2016 Louisville, KY
* June 1st & 2nd, 2016 Salt Lake City, UT
* June 13th & 14th, 2016 Boise, ID - This class runs
from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. each evening.
* June 15th & 16th, 2016 Orlando, FL
* June 15th & 16th, 2016 Idaho Falls, ID
* June 20th & 21st, 2016 Charlotte, NC
* June 27th & 28th, 2016 Gold Beach, OR
* June 27th & 28th, 2016 Sioux Falls, SD
* June 29th & 30th, 2016 Medford, OR
* June 29th & 30th, 2016 Omaha, NE
EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS SYSTEMS: OEM
flowcharts routinely make EVAP system diagnostics too
complicated. Despite the wide variety of systems out there,
our research has revealed that a layered approach is much
faster than the linear OEM approach, leading to a profitable
diagnosis without the wasted (and unbillable) diagnostic
time or multiple trips for your customer. This is the 2nd
subject in our Import Series, but also comes with a thick
Domestic section. First, we show you universal techniques
applicable to every system. If no leaks are found, the
procedures become more system-specific, but not yet
manufacturer-specific. All systems fall into one of four
categories listed below, and by following our universal
procedures, you can still avoid the technical nonsense that
typically lengthens diagnostic times! Most faults are found
using these first two layers. We have also included
manufacturer and system specific tips and tricks for those
cases where you'll need to go that deep.
* June 1st & 2nd, 2016 Queens, NY
* June 6th & 7th, 2016 York, PA
* June 6th & 7th, 2016 Fort Worth, TX
* June 8th & 9th, 2016 New Castle, DE
* June 8th & 9th, 2016 Dallas, TX
* June 13th & 14th, 2016 Binghamton, NY
* June 15th & 16th, 2016 Scranton, PA
* June 22nd & 23rd, 2016 Columbia, SC
* June 27th & 28th, 2016 Montrose, CO
* June 29th & 30th, 2016 Birmingham, AL
CHRYSLER ENGINE PERFORMANCE: Chrysler
diagnostics have always been challenging because of parts
incompatibility, failed new parts, no-code faults, and
trouble codes that really mean something else. So ATG has
assembled the best tests and tricks to get past all of these
diagnostic distractions. This seminar covers new systems
through 2012, but we've also taken a fresh look at common
diagnostic problems on systems back to 1996. As usual, we
help you get the most diagnostic information with the least
effort. With this information you can 'think' your way
through diagnostics to beat the flowchart.
* June 27th & 28th, 2016 Huntsville, AL
